Your background is suitable for the competition, you've done your part and now ready to participate in the competition. This is as important as other parts. This is your chance to represent your country, school and yourself in such a prestigious competition. This is also chance to meet other students who will potentially be your colleagues at real jobs so make sure to leave a good reputation.

1. Preparing poster and presentation

There might be guidelines for this such as max. 20 minutes of presentation, size of poster, representing your sponsor, school etc. Once you have all the information you have to be very careful you represent right amount of information within the limits. Your presentation and poster should include basic design information of your bridge, the process you went through, information on why you chose such a design. On the left is a group picture of my group with our bridge and poster.
2. Getting ready for the competition

This phase also includes transportation of the bridge and the equipments. Hotel etc needs to be booked, registration fee must be paid on time.

3. During the competition

Have fun, enjoy your time there, use this opportunity to expand your network. You put minimum 6 months and this is the time to celebrate.
